Board Appointment
Stobart Group, the Aviation, Energy and Civil Engineering group, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Blackwood as Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 March 2019.
David is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Dignity plc and Scapa Group plc. He was previously Chief Financial Officer of Synthomer plc from 2007 to 2015, and held a number of senior roles with ICI plc.
David will be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees on appointment and become Chairman of the Audit Committee in June 2019. He will succeed Andrew Wood who will not put himself forward for re-election at the 2019 AGM after almost six years on the Board.

The Company confirms that there is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the UK listing rules.
