Woodburne, the AIM listed investing company focused on natural resources and mineral extraction, announces that Martin Kiersnowski resigned from his position as a non-executive director on 2 March 2012 in order to pursue his other interests.

Gobind Sahney, Chairman, commented "We are most appreciative of Martin's tenure since the early days of the company prior to the natural resource focus. Martin's assistance in transitioning to our current business objective was very helpful and we appreciate his continued support as a shareholder."

Martin Kiersnowski commented "Having seen the Company through many changes I am pleased to be able to relinquish my duties as a director in the knowledge that the current Board is committed to an active investment programme in order to demonstrably increase shareholder value."
