Board Change
Stellar Diamonds plc, the London listed diamond development company focused on West Africa (AIM: STEL) announces the resignation of non-executive director Luis da Silva with immediate effect. Luis will be stepping down to focus on his role as chief executive of GB Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: GBL) as it debt finances and advances the Farim phosphate project in Guinea Bissau into development and production.
Stellar Chairman, Lord Daresbury commented:
"Luis' knowledge and experience of exploration in West Africa has been invaluable to Stellar and as a founding director he has been a great support to the Company since its inception as it has advanced to the stage of mine development on the Tongo project in Sierra Leone. I would like to thank him for all he has done for Stellar and wish him well for the future."
