Change in Significant Shareholder's Interest
Pursuant to AIM Rule 17, Steppe Cement Limited ("Steppe" or the "Company") has been advised by significant shareholder David Crichton-Watt that his family has increased its holding in the Company to 16,754,262 shares, representing an interest of 14.7%.
The increase of shares from the previous announcement made on 5 July 2007 arises as follows:
