Range Resources Ltd (the "Company") wishes to advise that a copy of the prospectus in relation to its previously announced (to the Australian Stock Exchange) non-renounceable options entitlement issue to shareholders and placement options offer to option holders has been lodged with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and is available for viewing on the Company's website at www.rangeresources.com.au.
As previously announced, the summary details on the entitlements issue and placement offer are:
- A non-renounceable entitlement issue of approximately 24,403,003 options to existing shareholders on the basis of one option exercisable at A$1.00 on or before 1 October 2010 for every eight (8) shares held by shareholders registered at 5.00pm Western Standard Time (in Australia) at an issue price of 1 cent per option to raise approximately A$244,300; and
- An offer of up to 69,185,660 options (with the same terms as the entitlement options above) to holders of listed options in the Company at 1 August 2007 on the basis of one (1) option for every listed option held on that date at an issue price of 1 cent per option to raise up to A$691,857. This offer is subject to shareholders approval at the Company's annual general meeting.
