Appointment of Director

SCISYS Group PLC ("SCISYS" or the "Group"), the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions and support services to the Media & Broadcast, Space, Government, Defence and Commercial sectors, is pleased to announce that today, Natasha Laird was appointed to the board of SCISYS with immediate effect as an executive director and general counsel.

Natasha joined SCISYS as General Counsel in 2014, and has been Company Secretary since September 2016. She has a degree in English and German Law from King's College, London and qualified as a solicitor in 1998. Prior to joining SCISYS, she practised as a commercial litigation lawyer with Hammonds (now Squire Patton Boggs) and as general counsel in industry. Over the past four years Natasha has been involved in a wide range of commercial matters at board level within both the UK and German arms of SCISYS and, most recently, successfully led the process of creating a new Irish holding company for the Group and listing it on AIM and on the Enterprise Securities Market of Euronext ("ESM").

Because Natasha is the daughter of Dr Mike Love, Chairman of SCISYS and a major shareholder, the entire process of the nomination, evaluation and appointment of Natasha as a director of SCISYS was initiated and managed by David Coghlan, Independent Non-Executive Director. Mike was not involved in any meetings or decisions concerning the appointment.

AIM & ESM Rule 17

There are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17, Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies and the ESM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointment of Natasha Louise Laird (previously Love), aged 45. Mrs Laird holds an interest in 164,001 ordinary shares of 25 pence in SCISYS' share capital.
