Notification of transaction by a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR")
The Company has been notified that the person set out in the table below, being a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility (a "PDMR"), was granted awards taking the form of nil cost options ("Awards") to acquire ordinary shares of 117/200 pence each ("Shares") on the dates and at the prices set out below.
The number of Shares subject to the Awards has been determined by reference to the closing price of the Company's Shares on the day before the Awards were granted, being £6.7050 per Share.
The vesting of the Awards is subject to a three year vesting period and the satisfaction of performance conditions measured over a three-year period from 1 October 2018 to 30 September 2021. 75% of the total Awards is based on earnings per share growth and 25% of the total Awards is based on relative Total Shareholder Return.
This announcement, including the notifications below, is made in accordance with the requirements of Article 19(3) of the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No 596/2014.
