Result of Annual General Meeting and Retirement of Non-Executive Director
London, 24 June 2021 – Serica Energy plc (AIM: SQZ), announces that the Company's Annual General Meeting (the "AGM") was held earlier today. A poll was held on each of the resolutions proposed. All resolutions put to the meeting were duly passed at the AGM and the results of the poll are set out below:

A "Vote withheld" is not a vote in law and is not counted in the calculation of the percentage of shares voted "For" or "Against" any resolution.

The presentation contains production guidance for 2021 and 2022 as follows:
Serica 2021 full-year average production rate 23,000 – 27,000 boe/d
Serica 2022 full-year average production rate 27,100 – 33,600 boe/d
Retirement of Director
The Company confirms that, in line with previous notification, Neil Pike has retired from the Board of the Company with effect from the close of the AGM. His role as Chair of the Audit Committee is taken over by Kate Coppinger.
Tony Craven Walker, Executive Chairman of Serica, commented:
"I would like to thank Neil for his service to Serica since joining the Board in 2004, during which time he has made a major contribution to ensure the success of the Company. We have benefited enormously from his input and I would like to give him my strong personal thanks and those of my Board colleagues."
