SQS Software Quality Systems AG28 November 2007 SQS Software Quality Systems AG Board Change28 November 2007 SQS Software Quality Systems AG ('SQS' AIM: SQS), the global leader inindependent software testing and quality management services, announces thatHeinz Bons (59), Chief Operating Officer (COO) and co-founder of SQS, willretire from the Board on 31 December 2007. Heinz Bons will continue to act as aprincipal consultant for the Group going forward. In anticipation of Heinz Bons' retirement, SQS established three regionalmanagement teams at the start of 2007. These teams, "Germany", "UK/Ireland/SouthAfrica", and "Switzerland/Austria/The Netherlands/Management Consulting" haveeffectively been operating on a regional COO basis reporting directly to theExecutive Board. No replacement is to be sought for Heinz Bons in his capacityas COO. Heinz Bons co-founded SQS with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rudolf van Megen in1982, and over the last 25 years, has played an instrumental part in buildingthe Company into the world's leader in independent software testing and qualitymanagement services. As COO he played an instrumental part in floating SQS onAIM in 2005 and on the Open Market of Deutsche Borse in Frankfurt. SQS was thefirst German company to achieve a primary listing in London. In recent years,Heinz played a pivotal role in both shaping SQS's technology leadership andproviding best of class delivery services to its major clients.
