Board Appointment
Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, the world leader in the control and efficient use of steam, electrical thermal energy solutions, and peristaltic pumping and associated fluid path technologies, announces the following Board appointment in accordance with its ongoing succession planning and further to its 14th February 2018 news release on Board Succession Changes.
Peter France will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Peter will be a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Peter has had a highly successful career spanning 28 years with Rotork plc. From 2008 to August 2017, he was Chief Executive at Rotork plc and led the business through a period of significant transformation and growth.
Bill Whiteley, Chairman, commented, "I am delighted to welcome Peter to the Board of Directors. His broad industrial engineering and international business experience will benefit the further development of the Group. This appointment is part of the succession planning undertaken by the Nomination Committee to recruit Non-Executive Directors with the skills and experience required to support the implementation of our strategy for growth."
