Sportech PLC16 July 2007 Sportech PLC Appointment of Non Executive Director Sportech PLC (the "Company"), the UK's leading football gaming business, ispleased to announce the appointment of Jon Holmes as a Non-Executive Director ofthe Board, with immediate effect. Jon Holmes has worked in the sports industry for more than twenty five years asa successful client manager and FA Licensed Players' Agent. He founded SFXEurope in 1998 and was Chairman and CEO of SFX Sports Group until 2006, managingthe careers of leading sports industry figures including Gary Lineker, NasserHussain and Gabby Logan. Jon began his career in sports management when he founded Park Associates in1981. SFX was founded in 1998 following the sale of Park Associates to TheMarquee Group, with Jon being appointed Managing Director of SFX. In 2001, Jonled a consortium to buy Leicester City F.C. out of administration, and wasChairman when the team gained promotion to the Premier League that year, beforeresigning to devote his attention back to SFX. In late 2006 the Wasserman MediaGroup acquired SFX, at which point Jon left to form his own company Jon HolmesMedia, retaining all his sports broadcast and media clients.
