IQ Holdings plc25 February 2008 IQ Holdings plc ("IQ Holdings" or the "Company") Appointment of Director The Company announces that Peter Parkinson has been appointed as a director witheffect from 22 January 2008. Due to the unforeseen illness suffered by NeilMcGowan, Peter will undertake the role of temporary finance director until Neilreturns. Peter William Parkinson aged 66, has over 30 years experience in finance andadministration in both public and private companies in advertising, filmproduction and music. He is currently Director of Finance and Business Affairsof Handmade PLC a rights ownership, film production, merchandising and licensingcompany. For 12 years he was a director and company secretary of companiesforming the music division of Hemdale Group Limited. For six years he wasfinancial controller and company secretary of the Rayant Group Ltd, a companyproducing documentary films and television commercials. He was OperationsDirector of the Equator Group between 1999 and 2006. Peter holds no shares in the Company. Rightatlas Limited had a LPA received appointedin October 1991. Barbican Developments (North East) Limited was liquidated inMarch 1992. The receiver appointed by the bank for Barbican Holdings plcrecovered at least £4.1 million against a loan of approximately £5.75 million. Peter Parkinson was a director of Newgate Trust plc which was compulsorily woundup in March 1993 with a net deficiency of £400,000.
