Transaction in Own Shares
Somero announces that on Thursday, 7 September 2017, the Company approved a transaction in respect of employee share schemes.
In accordance with the option buy-back programme, approved on 15 November 2013, 154,268 options over ordinary shares have been bought back and cancelled from Non-Executive Director, Lawrence Horsch. The options were bought back at a price of 295p per share, reflecting the share price at close of market on 7 September 2017.
After taking into account the above buy back of options, there remain outstanding share options over a total of 17,141 ordinary shares in the Company.
The Company's total issued ordinary share capital is 56,425,598 shares and the Company holds 183,477 of its shares in Treasury and has 56,242,121 ordinary shares in issue excluding Treasury shares which was unchanged by the above transaction.
