Trading update

Somero is pleased to provide an update on trading ahead of its interim results announcement due on Tuesday 8 September 2015.

In its announcement on 18 May 2015, prior to the Company's annual general meeting, Somero highlighted strong momentum had continued into 2015 yielding year to date results that were ahead of market forecasts at that time. Somero is pleased to report that trading in the months of May and June has remained positive, with particularly strong activity levels in North America and the Middle East, and with Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America each contributing satisfactorily to overall growth. In China, activity levels increased in May and June from the slower than expected start to the year highlighted in our previous announcement, and we are seeing healthy momentum in demand for our products.

With respect to our product lines, sales of the large line S-22E, the small line S-485, and our 3D Profiler System are the primary drivers of growth in the first half of 2015.

This positive trading environment means that the Company's overall results are tracking slightly above current market expectations for the full year ending 31 December 2015.
