NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY/PERSONS CLOSELY ASSOCIATED
As required by Article 19 Of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 on market abuse, Smart Metering Systems plc (AIM: SMS.L) announces that it has received notification that on 31 January 2022, Alan Foy, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, transferred 5,053,201 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. Guernsey Branch, in security for a loan made to him.
Following this transaction, Alan Foy (together with persons closely associated with him) continues to have an interest in 900,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.675% of the issued share capital of the Company and has contractual rights to return of 5,053,201 ordinary shares following repayment of the loan made to him.
