ST. MODWEN APPOINTS ROB HUDSON AS GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR
St. Modwen Properties PLC (LSE: SMP), the UK's leading regeneration specialist, announces the appointment of Robert Hudson as its Group Finance Director. It is anticipated that Rob will join the Company by October 2015.
Rob, age 41, joins St. Modwen from British Land PLC, where he has been Group Financial Controller since October 2011. A chartered accountant, Rob began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving to Experian PLC in 2000 where he held a number of senior financial roles, including Global Finance Director of its Decision Analytics business and UK Finance Director.
As announced on 22nd December 2014 Mike Dunn, St. Modwen's current Group Finance Director, will step down from the Board on 31st May 2015. Andy Taylor, who joined the Company in July 2007 as Group Financial Controller, will become acting Group Finance Director until Rob's appointment becomes effective.
Commenting on the appointment Bill Oliver, Chief Executive of St. Modwen, said: "Rob's wide-ranging financial skills and experience combined with his property sector knowledge will make him an excellent addition to the Company. I look forward to working with him to support the ongoing growth and success of St. Modwen's business."
