St. Modwen Properties PLC (LSE:SMP) announces that Kay Chaldecott, a non-executive director of the Company, is a non-executive director of NewRiver REIT plc ("NewRiver"). She also chairs NewRiver's Remuneration Committee and is a member of NewRiver's Audit and Nomination Committees.

This announcement is made in compliance with Listing Rule 9.6.14(2) following NewRiver's admission to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority on 18th August 2016.
