STANDARD LIFE UK SMALLER COMPANIES TRUST PLC
RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Standard Life UK Smaller Companies Trust plc (the "Company") hereby gives notification that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held earlier today, 25 October 2018, all the Resolutions as set out in full in the Notice of Annual General Meeting contained in the 2018 Annual Report which was sent to shareholders on 5 September 2018, were duly passed.
At the record date for the Annual General Meeting, being 23 October 2018, the total number of voting rights in the Company stood at 101,176,317 and the total shares in issue were 101,176,317. In accordance with the provisions of E.2.2 of the UK Corporate Governance Code, the Company advises that for the Annual General Meeting, valid proxy appointments were made in respect of 25,305,817 shares and that the number of proxy votes lodged for each Resolution were as follows:
