The Company has previously intimated that Allister Langlands will step down as Chairman and from the Board during the first half of 2020. The Board can now confirm that Allister will retire as Chairman and a Director of the Company on 31 March 2020. The Board is pleased to announce that Liz Airey will succeed Allister as Chairman on that date.
Liz Airey was appointed as an independent non-executive Director of the Company on 21 August 2019. Liz will retire as non-executive Chairman of Jupiter Fund Management plc on 2 March 2020 and is currently a non-executive Director of Kirk Lovegrove & Company Limited, a member of the Corporate Governance Committee and Investments Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and Chair of Trustees of the Rolls-Royce UK Pension Fund.
