Appointment of a Director
The Board of Standard Life Private Equity Trust plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Calum Thomson FCA as an independent non-executive Director, with immediate effect.
Calum is a qualified accountant with over 25 years' experience in the Financial Services industry. He has been with Deloitte LLP since October 1988, for 21 years as a partner, during which time he has provided advice and reporting to audit and executive committees across a range of private and listed organisations.
Calum is a non-executive Director and the Audit Committee chair of Diverse Income Trust plc, British Empire Trust plc and BLME Holdings plc and is a non-executive Director of Baring Emerging Europe plc.
Calum is a Fellow of the ICAEW and holds a BA (Hons).
There are no disclosures required under Section 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules in respect of his appointment.
Forthcoming Retirement of a Director
The Board would like also like to announce that Alastair Barbour intends to step down as a Director of the Company at close of business on Friday 29 December 2017.
