Voting Rights and Capital
In accordance with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, SIG plc (the "Company") hereby notifies the following changes to its issued share capital:
Pursuant to the Placing and Open Offer and Firm Placing announced by the Company on 18 March 2009, the Company has allotted 455,047,973 ordinary shares of 10p each ("New Ordinary Shares") in the Company, at an issue price of 75p each. The New Ordinary Shares were unconditionally allotted and admitted to trading today.
As a result, as at 14 April 2009, the Company's issued share capital consists of 590,813,193 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights. None of these ordinary shares are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 590,813,193.
The above figure (590,813,193) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
