 Board Appointments

Sigma, the specialist asset management and advisory group, is pleased to announce the appointment with immediate effect of two new Executive Directors, John Hamilton and Gwynn Thomson, to the Board of the Company. John Hamilton has been appointed as Residential Development Director and Gwynn Thomson has been appointed as Property Investment Director. The appointments reflect Sigma's increasing focus on its property-related activities. In a separate announcement issued today, Sigma has also reported the acquisition of Inpartnership Ltd, which undertakes large scale property-related regeneration projects.

John Hamilton, aged 53 years, is a chartered surveyor with over 30 years' experience in the property industry, principally in the private sector, with a number of Scotland's leading house builders. He has been working with Sigma's Property Division since September 2010, having spent seven years as Technical Director at Miller Homes, part of the Miller Group, the UK's largest privately owned house building, property development and construction business. He was also previously Managing Director of Strathdearn Homes, the house builder.

Gwynn Galloway Thomson, aged 43 years, has over 19 years' experience in the property market, specialising in commercial property investment. Gwynn joined Sigma in February 2010, having previously worked for seven years at DTZ, the global real estate adviser, in Edinburgh, latterly as Director of Investment and Valuation.

Graham Barnet, Chief Executive, commented,

"I am delighted to welcome John and Gwynn to the Board as Executive Directors. Both Directors know our business well and will be taking a leading role in the further development of Inpartnership Ltd, the company acquired by Sigma today. As we continue to develop our property activities, I am sure that Sigma's Board will benefit from their substantial experience and expertise in the property development and investment sectors."
