TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Sage Group plc. ("Sage" or the "Group") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 1 ⁴/₇₇ pence each (the "Shares") on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc. This is pursuant to the share buyback programme announced on 4 March 2021 which is expected to end no later than 4 September 2021.

Number of ordinary shares purchased: 630,492

Highest price paid per share: 627.00p

Lowest price paid per share: 618.00p

Volume weighted average price paid per share: 624.19p

These Shares will be held in treasury and used to meet obligations arising from share option programmes, or other allocations of shares, to employees or directors.
