Stagecoach Group plc ("Stagecoach") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares from Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch.

These share purchases form part of Stagecoach's share buyback programme (the "Programme") which was announced on 1 May 2019.

Stagecoach initially intends to hold the purchased shares as treasury shares, but may cancel them in the due course.

The total number of voting rights in Stagecoach Group plc, excluding treasury shares as at 1 May 2019 is 572,592,989.
