Board Changes

The Company is pleased to announce the following board changes effective today:
Board Appointments
Richard Stabbins has stepped down as Non-Executive Chairman, and remains a Non-Executive Director;
Alastair Beardsall has been appointed an Executive Director of the company and Chairman of the Board; and
Keith Henry has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director; Keith will be a member of the Audit and Nominations Committees, and the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.
Richard Stabbins, retiring Chairman of Sterling said:
"I welcome Alastair Beardsall and Keith Henry who will be joining the board. This will be a period of great opportunity for Sterling, and the new funding will allow us to concentrate on our main business of finding and producing oil and gas. It will be sad to see the departure of some colleagues and I would like to thank them for the tremendous contribution they have made, particularly during the challenges of the last 18 months. "
