Ramco Energy PLC21 April 2006 Ramco Energy plc ("Ramco") Ramco confirms it has complied with Texan court orders Further to the announcement made yesterday, Ramco confirms that yesterday itcomplied fully with the two orders of the Texas State Court issued earlier inthe week. These orders are the latest in a series made by the court in connection with thelong running Tenge lawsuit, in which a decision is awaited from the Texas Courtof Appeals. Yesterday, Ramco and Ramco Oil Limited ("ROL"), a wholly-owned subsidiary ofRamco, (together the "defendants"), turned over to the court share certificatesfor Ramco's holdings in its subsidiaries, Ramco Oil & Gas Limited ("ROGL") andRamco Eastern Europe Limited ("REEL") along with copies of documentationrelating to Lansdowne which is in their possession. ROGL and REEL togetherhold approximately 86 per cent. in Lansdowne Oil & Gas plc ("Lansdowne"),representing the whole of Ramco's indirect interest in Lansdowne. Ramco had infact tendered the share certificates in ROGL and REELto the court in February incompliance with an earlier order but they were not accepted at that time due toadministrative delays at the court. The court orders made no reference to the admission of Lansdowne to the AIMmarket, contrary to the terms of misleading press statements issued by theplaintiffs over the past few days. ROGL and REEL continue to hold share certificates for their respective interestsin Lansdowne and Ramco continues to hold and control its interests in ROGL andREEL respectively.
