Board Appointment

SDI Group plc, the AIM quoted group focused on the design and manufacture of scientific and technology products for use in digital imaging and sensing and control applications, is pleased to announce the forthcoming appointment of Andrew Hosty to the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 8 August 2022.

Andrew spent over twenty years in senior positions at FTSE 250 listed engineering group Morgan Advanced Materials plc, including as CEO of Morgan Ceramics. After leaving Morgan Ceramics, Andrew was CEO at the Sir Henry Royce Institute, the UK's national institute for advanced materials research and innovation. He is currently a Non-Executive director at a number of start-up businesses and has previously been a Non-Executive director of AIM Listed James Cropper PLC and FTSE 250 RHI Magnesita Plc. Andrew has a PhD in Materials Science and is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Institute of Materials.
