Sanderson Design Group PLC (AIM: SDG), the luxury interior design and furnishings group, announces that Mike Woodcock, an experienced finance director with a track record in brand-based businesses, will join the Company early next month, becoming Chief Financial Officer and a Board director on 1 November 2021. Michael Williamson, the Company's current Chief Financial Officer, will step down from the Company on 31 October 2021 to pursue new career opportunities.

Mike Woodcock qualified as an accountant at KPMG and has significant experience of international luxury and consumer brands in the quoted and private sectors. From 2001 until 2015, Mike was at Richemont Group, where his increasingly senior roles included CFO of Alfred Dunhill and CFO of Montblanc. He then moved to Belstaff as CFO until its sale in 2019. Most recently he was CFO of Paperchase under its current private equity ownership.

Mike will join Sanderson Design Group on 4 October 2021 in the role of Group Financial Officer, enabling a handover period prior to his becoming Chief Financial Officer.

Michael John Woodcock (48 years of age) has been a director or partner of the following companies during the five years preceding the date of this announcement:

Paperchase Products Limited, a company of which Mike Woodcock was appointed a director on 2 September 2019, was placed into administration on 28 January 2021, the process of which is ongoing.

Paperchase Canada Retail Ltd, a company of which Mike Woodcock was a director of from 2 September 2019 until 2 September 2021, was placed into bankruptcy on 2 September 2021.

Murtrang Limited, the holding company of Paperchase Products Limited and a company of which Mike Woodcock was appointed a director on 2 September 2019, was placed into voluntary creditors liquidation on 10 June 2021, the process of which is ongoing.

Murtranh Limited, the holding company of Murtrang Limited and a company of which Mike Woodcock was appointed a director on 2 September 2019, was placed into voluntary creditors liquidation on 10 June 2021, the process of which is ongoing.

There is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 17 or Schedule Two paragraph (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
