Result of EGM

Surface Transforms is pleased to announce that all the resolutions set out in the Notice of the Extraordinary General Meeting for the Extraordinary General Meeting held earlier today were duly passed by shareholders. 

The Company is raising GBP 0.45 million (before expenses) via a Placing of 4,516,580 new ordinary shares ("Placing Shares") of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 10p per share with existing and new institutional investors. Accordingly application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the 4,516,580 Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission will occur on 13 August 2009.
