Director/PDMR Shareholding
J Sainsbury plc (the "Company") was notified that, on 18 March 2019, shares were released to the following Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMR") granted under the J Sainsbury plc Bonus Share Award 2011. The award was granted on 12 May 2016 as a conditional share award over ordinary shares of 284/7 pence each in the Company (the "Shares"). There were no performance conditions applicable on the award, vesting was only subject to Clodagh Moriarty's continued service with the Company. The Shares were automatically released on the date of vesting, with sufficient Shares sold to cover tax withholding obligations only.
