Secondary listing of Global Depositary Receipts on Moscow Exchange
27 May 2014. Moscow, Russia.- JSC Russian Grids (LSE: RSTI) (the "Company"), the largest electricity transmission and distribution grid company in Russia, today announces that the Company's Global Depository Receipts ("GDRs") have been included in the List of Non-listed Securities Admitted to Trading on CJSC "MICEX SE". The commencement of trading on the Moscow Exchange is expected on 28 May 2014. The GDRs will be traded under the ticker RSDR and ISIN number US47973C2061.
The Regulation S GDRs, each representing 200 ordinary shares of the Company, have been trading on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange since 8 December 2011. This remains the primary listing for the Company's GDRs.
Transactions with the GDRs on the Moscow Exchange will be possible for interdealer repo deals with the shares of the Company. The Company believes the secondary listing of GDRs on the Moscow Exchange will help to increase liquidity and make GDRs more accessible for funding purposes.
