Rose Petroleum plc, the AIM-listed (AIM: ROSE) natural resources company, was informed on 15 February 2016 that, following the sale of 14 million ordinary shares in the Company on 12 February 2016, Roy Grainger Williams is now interested in 247,052,619 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 9.69 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. 164,134,097 of these ordinary shares are held in Mr Williams' own name and 55,528,570 ordinary shares by Peaseblossom Limited and 27,380,952 ordinary shares by Mustardseed Estates Limited, companies over which Mr Williams exercises voting control.
