Rotork plc ('Rotork' or 'Company'), the market-leading global provider of mission-critical intelligent flow control solutions, announces that Andrew Heath and Vanessa Simms have been appointed as independent Non-Executive Directors. Andrew will join the Board on 1 April 2024 and will stand for election at the 2024 AGM. He will be appointed Chair of the Safety and Sustainability Committee from 1 May 2024, subject to election. Vanessa will join the Board with effect from 21 June 2024.
Andrew is currently Chief Executive Officer of Spectris plc, a role he has held since September 2018. From 2016 to 2018, he was CEO of Imagination Technologies Group plc, having previously served as a non-executive director of that company from 2012. From 2015, he was CEO of Alent plc, a leading global supplier of speciality chemicals and engineered materials. Andrew began his career with Rolls-Royce and has an engineering degree from Imperial College, London and an MBA from Loughborough University.
Vanessa is currently Chief Financial Officer at Land Securities Group plc and was formerly Chief Financial Officer at Grainger plc from February 2016 to April 2021. Prior to Grainger plc, Vanessa was Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Unite Group plc and UK Finance Director at SEGRO plc. Vanessa is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and has an executive MBA (EMBA) from Ashridge Business School. It has been confirmed that Vanessa will be stepping down as a non-executive director of Drax Group Plc on 18 June 2024.

Further to the announcement on 12 September 2023, it has also now also been confirmed that Ben Peacock will join the Board of Rotork on 11 March 2024 as Chief Financial Officer.
