SHAREHOLDER NOTIFICATION
Rambler Media Limited (RMG.LN) ("Rambler" or the "Group"), the operator of one of Russia's most popular internet brands, has today been notified by fax dated 16 October 2009 that Capital Research and Management Company ("CRMC") have decreased their indirect shareholding in Rambler Media from 828,497 Ordinary Shares or 5.4% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital to 339,747 shares, below 3% of Rambler's issued ordinary share capital. The change in shareholding was effected on 15 October 2009. On Friday 16 October 2009, the Rambler share closed at US$4.25, up 16% from US$3.67, the previous Friday.
CRMC is a U.S.-based investment adviser that manages The American Funds family of mutual funds. CRMC does not own shares of the companies it invests in for its own accounts. Rather, the shares reported in this notification are owned by mutual funds under the discretionary investment management of CRMC.
