Total Voting Rights
Following the result of the Tender Offer, announced on 25 November 2009 and the subsequent Court confirmation of the Capital Reduction, announced on 9 December 2009, the Company's issued share capital now consists of 1,765,658,553 ordinary shares of 1p each("Ordinary Shares"), all with voting rights. No shares were held in treasury at the date of this announcement. The total number of current voting rights attached to the Ordinary Shares is therefore 1,765,658,553.
The above figure (1,765,658,553) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the Company's issued share capital.
Terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as those in the circular to shareholders of the Company dated 28 October 2009.
