RM confirms renewal of major data services contract with the DfE

RM has been reappointed by the Department for Education (DfE), to provide the English schools National Pupil Database - Achievement and Attainment Tables (NPD-AAT) service. The contract extension, which is worth £7m to RM, will run for a further two years.

RM announced in January 2006 that it had been appointed to provide the NPD-AAT service. Prior to this, RM's data services business, RM Data Solutions, had been responsible for producing the English schools achievement and attainment tables since 1995.

RM will provide a comprehensive service comprising collection & matching of pupil performance data, validation of that data, and analysis to provide detailed performance tables.

Terry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:
