Appointment of Director
Red Leopard is pleased to announce that Mr Thomas Hoyer has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect.
Thomas, aged 42, is a graduate in economics from the Swedish School of Economics and has had an international career within different industries in Europe and Africa. Since 2008, his professional focus has been on the natural resources sector, where he has held various executive and non-executive positions, including CFO and later CEO of LSE-listed mining and metals company Afarak Group Plc (formerly Ruukki Group Plc), Managing Director at Tantalus Rare Earths AG and non-executive Director at the environmental consulting group, Gaia Group Oy.
Commenting on his appointment, Thomas said, "I am pleased to join Red Leopard and see great potential in using the Company as a platform for value enhancing corporate transactions in the natural resources sector. There is finally positive momentum in the sector, and the Company is an attractive vehicle to use to attract what we hope will be a value enhancing deal for shareholders."

Thomas Hoyer was a director of Tantalus Rare Earths AG ("Tantalus") from 2013 to 19 December 2016. On 16 October 2015, Tantalus filed an application for voluntary insolvency proceedings at the Munich Local Court; the amounts owed at that time were approximately €1.5million. On 8 December 2015, Tantalus announced the sale of a 60% interest in its subsidiary for €3.7million and accordingly repaid its creditors with, on 12 February 2016, the application for the opening of insolvency proceedings being withdrawn.
Mr. Hoyer does not currently hold any Ordinary Shares in the Company.
