Board Change

Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas company with key interests in the North Falkland Basin and the Greater Mediterranean region, announces that Fiona MacAulay, Chief Operating Officer, has advised the Board of her intention to leave the Company on 4 July 2017 in order to accept the role of Chief Executive Officer of AIM-listed Echo Energy plc.

Prior to her departure, Fiona will hand-over her responsibilities to the senior members of the technical team who will assume day-to-day management of operational and technical matters from July 2017. Namely, Alun Griffiths (Petroleum Engineering Manager and Falkland Asset Manager), Lucy Williams (Geoscience Manager) and Paul Culpin (Development Manager). Alun has been working with Rockhopper since 2010, Lucy and Paul since 2011 and all three have significant industry experience in their respective fields.

David McManus, Chairman of Rockhopper, commented:

"Fiona has been a key member of the Rockhopper Board since 2013. She leaves Rockhopper as the largest acreage holder in a basin which we remain confident will be proven to contain a billion barrels of oil."
