Set out below is a link to the text of an announcement relating to Pires Investments plc ("Pires") in which RGO has agreed to subscribe for 10,750,000 new ordinary shares in a placing to raise £1,060,000, bringing its aggregate holding in the company to 26,899,993 (22.5% of the enlarged issued share capital of Pires).

Pires has raised funds from both existing and new investors, including Chris Akers who has a proven track record of investing in the technology sector and who has subscribed for 17,500,000 shares in the placing representing 14.7% of the company's enlarged share capital.

Pires is an investment company listed on AIM focused on investing in the technology sector. Its technology investment portfolio includes a 13% interest in Sure Valley Ventures, a venture capital fund which invests in the software sector with a specific focus on the augmented/virtual reality, artificial intelligence and IoT sectors. It also has an investment in Getvisibility, an artificial intelligence security company which addresses problems corporations face in storing, sorting, accessing and protecting data which is today even more important given the recent increase in cybercrime associated with the Covid-19 crisis.
