Regency Mines PLC04 April 2005 REGENCY MINES PLC Appointment of Non-executive Director and Director Shareholding Dated: 4 April 2005 Regency Mines plc ("Regency"), the mining exploration and development companyfocused on base metals, in particular properties prospective for copper inCentral Queensland and nickel projects in Western Australia, announced theappointment of John Watkins as a non-executive director of the Company on 30March 2005. John Watkins, aged 61, is a chartered accountant and a former partner of Ernst &Young and Neville Russell. John Watkins appointment will strengthen thefinancial controls of the Company.
