Board Change

Krystyna Nowak appointed as an independent non-executive director

Record plc ("Record"), the specialist currency and derivatives manager, today announces the appointment of Krystyna Nowak as an independent non-executive director. The appointment is effective from today.

Krystyna is currently a partner at Ridgeway, having previously been Managing Director of Norman Broadbent. Krystyna is also the Senior Independent Director at Aberdeen Asian Income Fund Ltd (AAIF). Prior to this, Krystyna worked at Citigroup in a variety of senior roles across shipping finance, oil project finance and risk management, in Europe and Asia.

Neil Record, Chairman of Record, commented: "I am very pleased indeed that Krystyna has accepted a position on the Record plc Board. Krystyna has a wealth of City experience, both in banking and in executive search. Her expertise in succession planning will be a particular bonus in this period of transition for Record.
