Lord Rothschild, a director of RIT Capital Partners plc (the 'Company'), has advised the Company of the following transaction relating to the £1 ordinary shares of the Company ('Shares'):
Deferred share release
On 7 March 2016 Lord Rothschild acquired 20,083 Shares (0.01% of issued share capital) for nil consideration pursuant to the vesting of the second tranche of a conditional award granted under the Company's deferred bonus arrangements on 7 March 2014.
Following this acquisition, Lord Rothschild's interests in the Company comprise the following:
10,242,616 Shares (6.59% of issued) held beneficially.
18,006,639 Shares (11.59% of issued) held non-beneficially.
The above disclosures are in accordance with Disclosure Rule and Transparency Rule 3.1. The above transaction took place in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2016, the same date as the Company was notified of the transaction.
