New Contract Award
RA International Group PLC (AIM: RAI), a specialist provider of complex and integrated remote site services to organisations globally, is pleased to announce the award of a significant new contract to provide operational support capability to the UK Ministry of Defence (the "MoD").
The contract is a five-year global framework agreement which contains two additional option years (the "OSCC Framework Agreement"). The contract ceiling is GBP 35 million and will be drawn down as tasks are issued.
Under the OSCC Framework Agreement, RA will provide support requirements to the MoD when the requirements fall outside the scope of existing contract vehicles. Specific services to be performed include:
- The provision of infrastructure to support deployments of personnel outside of the UK, including the planning, design and construction of camp accommodation sites;
- The provision of related support services, including integrated facilities management and the provision of life support services; and
- Personnel and equipment provision, including equipment procurement, the management of transport logistics and the sourcing and training of specialist, security cleared support personnel.
The contract start date is effective from 1 December 2022 and RA will be increasing the size of its UK operations to help facilitate and oversee the delivery of this contract.
