US$9.1m Contract Win with URS Group, Inc.
RA International Group PLC (AIM: RAI), a leading provider of services to remote locations in Africa and the Middle East, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by URS Group, Inc., a subsidiary of AECOM, to provide construction services in Somalia.
The contract is being managed by AECOM, who is a new client of RA International. AECOM is one of the world's leading construction and civil engineering firms with revenues of over US$18 billion in FY 2017.
The project involves repairing an asphalt runway for the US Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) in Somalia. The total contract value for the Company is just over US$9.1 million and the project is for a duration of approximately eleven months, commencing in late 2018.

The area where the project is to be undertaken is one where we have been working for six years and already have a team on the ground.
