Quartix Technologies plc, a leading supplier of subscription-based vehicle tracking systems, analytical software and services today announces that Paul Boughton, Non-executive Chairman, has resigned from the Company's Board. Quartix also announces that the Company's Founder Andy Walters, has rejoined the board as Non-executive Chairman. The Board thanks Paul for his contribution to Quartix over many years both as Non-executive Director and Chairman.
Given Andy's significant shareholding in the Company, the Board has concluded that it would be appropriate to appoint a further independent Non-Executive Director to the Board as soon as practicable, taking into account the experience and skillset required for such a role. Further updates will be made in this regard and also the composition of the Company's Board Committees at the appropriate time.
Andy Walters, Non-executive Chairman, commented: "I believe that there is significant insight and value I can bring to the Company's growth plans. I therefore proposed to the board that I rejoin the Board as Non-executive Chairman to assist the Company in taking advantage of this growth opportunity, which I am delighted that they have accepted."
