Directorate Changes
Bluebird Energy plc ("Bluebird" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Gordon Hall to the Board as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
Gordon is a non-executive director of Nanoco Group Plc and EKF Diagnostics plc. After an early career in teaching, Gordon built up substantial international sales, management and development expertise with Rank Xerox and Abbott Laboratories. He became Chief Executive Officer of Shield Diagnostic Ltd (now Axis Shield plc) in 1990 and was responsible for listing the company on the London Stock Exchange.
The Company also announces that Andy Yeo and Frederik Dekker have resigned from the Board as CEO and non-executive director, respectively, with immediate effect to focus on their other executive responsibilities. James Ede-Golightly will assume executive responsibilities on an interim basis.
Commenting on today's announcement, James Ede-Golightly, Chairman of Bluebird, said:
