Director's Share Dealing

1 September 2009: Ark Therapeutics Group plc (LSE: AKT) ("Ark" or the "Company") announces that it was informed on 28 August 2009 that Professor Seppo Ylä-Herttuala, a non-executive director of the Company, sold 122,000 of his Ark ordinary shares of 1 pence each on that date to meet his annual Finnish wealth tax liabilities. These shares, which represent approximately 0.06% of the Company's issued share capital, were sold at a price of 42 pence per share. Following this transaction, Professor Ylä-Herttuala will own 3,162,835 Ark ordinary shares, representing approximately 1.53% of the Company's issued share capital.
