London, UK, 25 March 2020 - Premier Veterinary Group PLC (LSE: PVG) today announces that due to the current Coronavirus epidemic, and in line with recent Government advice to limit unnecessary travel and maintain social distancing, the Board of Directors has decided that it would be inappropriate to hold its 2020 Annual General Meeting on 31 March 2020 as communicated to shareholders on 18 February 2020. The previously announced venue for the AGM is now inaccessible and alternatives are proving impractical and equally high risk to arrange under current circumstances.

Article 62 of the Company's Articles of Association provides discretion for the Board of Directors in relation to the postponement of general meetings, in the event that the holding of such a meeting would be impractical or unreasonable. After due and serious consideration the Board has decided that in order to protect the health and safety of its shareholders the 2020 Annual General Meeting must be postponed until such time as it is safe for the Company's shareholders to attend.
