Trading Update

First sales of new Android box

PeerTV (AIM:PTV), a provider of technology solutions for the OTT (TV over the internet) has received the first firm order for its new Android set top box (STB), PeerDroid. The order, following the launch of the product in March at the IPTV show in London, is for a minimum value of $650,000 with an option to increase it to up to $1,500,000.

The STBs are scheduled to be delivered before year end. PeerTV had not initially expected orders of this magnitude for this new product before Q3 and no significant deliveries of the PeerDroid before Q1 2013. At the same time sales of the legacy products have been slower than the Company expected and the above mentioned contract partially replaces the order announced in February.

PeerDroid is a high definition STB allowing consumers to receive live HD TV channels as well as Video on Demand over the Internet. PeerDroid enables PeerTV customers to offer a highly extendable platform that in addition to delivering traditional TV services can now offer games, applications and Internet services in a cost effective manner, utilising third party developers and partners.
