Directors' Shareholdings
Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that on 15 April 2009 David Bryant, Group Development Director exercised an option over 11,939 shares awarded to him under the Company's Synergy Incentive Plan. The number of shares includes an award for Dividend Shares, in accordance with the rules of the Plan.
On 16 April 2009, David Bryant sold 4,900 shares in the Company at an average price of £4.00. As a result of these transactions, Mr Bryant and his wife's interest in the Company's shares increased to 531,817 shares or 0.2% of the issued share capital of the Company, (excluding Treasury Shares).
Mr Bryant has informed the Company that he sold these shares to settle tax liabilities.
The issued share capital of the Company on 16 April 2009 was 300,435,059 ordinary shares, excluding Treasury Shares.
